Well, It's been 8 months or so since I posted to this blog. I think I am over it.I found some things I made on my phone I will share so you 3 people that follow me can see I haven't stopped crafting, just don't need to post them or feel the need for validation this way anymore. I participate in the MFT sketch challenges over on SCS occasionally and still add to my gallery there occasionally. Goodbye for now. I don't think I will be using this blog again anytime soon.

I decided to shorten the Title of my blog. I started this blog years ago and couldn't think of a name so as a joke some friends and I came up with the bunny rescuing part. I actually did rescue a bunny and she had babies and we still have Sugar. He is a happy little guy that leaves in a condo most of the year outside except when it is 100 degrees outside. Like now, he is in my living room in his old cage smelling up my house. Until I think of something better, I am keeping the Texas Chattin' stamper part. Anyone want a six year old neutered rabbit for cheap? I have been trying to give him away for years and I never get any takers. *sigh*

MFT sketch...sorta
I started this one using the MFT sketch for this week. Umm, it wasn't working for me at all. I had to flip it, then I couldn't use a sentiment on the front. So it's very loosely based on the MFT sketch. I used the Inspired by the Sea set and MME Indie 6x6 paper. A muse ink. PTI Ocean tides paper. MFT sea charms die and waves die.

The other day my husband requested a birthday card for someone he knows that has fallen on hard times. I needed a card with next to no embelishments. Well, that was almost impossible for me. Oh and he needed it that same day. What?!! No warning? Just pull off a man card in an hour? I can't do it! First of all, I have probably a couple hundred cards in my stash. He knows this and says, "just dig through that pile and find one". Ummm, hello, I have no man stamps. There , I said it. All my stuff is girly or cutsie. I have a tie set, and a golf set, and a BBQ set, but none of those would work. The fishing bear was too cute too. Sigh. Texana design to the rescue. Cactus worked. Sorry about the blur, he gave me about 10 seconds to take a picture. I am not even sure the glue was dry when he shoved it in the envelope.

My new camera seems to absorb light more brightly than my old camera, The red in this photo is not nearly this bright in real life. LOL. Papers from My Minds Eye Love me collection. All dies and stamps from MFT.
I have a clean stamp desk so maybe I will stamp more this year.

It's a new year a a new post!
Trying out my new images and a new sketch challenge and used a new camera to take pictures. I am still trying to figure out where my pictures go when I upload them, the file path is never the same place I thought it was.My coloring is outside the lines, and it is not my best work, but, it's been over a month since I had time to stamp and I am rusty! Hopefully seeing this will motivate me to get better.

Inky Antics HoneyPop
Lately I have been trying out new things...like new stamp company's and products. I love the Honeycomb paper from Inky Antics! The little stamp sets that go with it are so cute! This one is called Cupcake Birdy. I paired it with some cute MME paper Stella Rose collection, Hazel, and just a grey solid paper from PTI. I also used MFT dies. Colored with Copic Markers.

Austin Shoebox Swap 2011
I went to the annual Austin Shoebox swap last weekend and this is the card I made. If you have never been to a swap, I would like to recommend them. We had around 30 people attend this year at The Lone Star Retreat Center in Georgetown Texas. Basically you each bring supplies for everyone to make your card and you get to go home with 30 original cards that you stamp while you are there. I have met some wonderful friends through the years at these swaps. Great fun!
Stamps: Inky Antics Birthday Elephant HoneyPop set
Inks: Momento Black, Copic markers
Accessories: MFT banner die, Amuse bling, Spellbinders label die, Inky Antic Honeycomb paper
Paper: PTI white, PTI Dotty Biscotti , PTI kraft
